Here 'tis, my finished collage :) I wish only that I could've photographed it head-on, and that the jewel-tones of color would show better. That said, I love what came out. What lovely surprises await, when you let something other than the mouth speak!
Would you believe, too, that I had written an amazzzzing exposition on Buddha's awakening to accompany this post...and while in preview mode, I lost it. And although I'd been writing for a good 10 minutes, nothing but the photo was auto-saved. hmm hmm hmm. Speak of lineage, I think they were trying to let me know something.
So I will let my little prize speak for itself, as that's what it's wanted to do. I've been mulling lineage, time, place and logic for some time-- that's all I'll add to it. The piece is called "The Lineage of Right Now". My favorite part? That's da Vinci's Christ (from The Last Supper) reaching out from the tangle of a web of tree-roots, Angor Wat.
